As the Principal Counsellor and Operations Manager at Changing Tide Wellness & Support Services, I bring a comprehensive skill set to support our clients and ensure our services run smoothly. With a background in the Disability Sector, my journey has included roles from Support Worker to Service Manager, equipping me with a diverse understanding of the field. My passion for mental wellbeing led me to transition into the Mental Health sector, backed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health.
I specialise in supporting individuals with complex trauma, substance use issues, and cognitive and intellectual challenges, with a particular focus on enhancing emotional development skills and fostering a positive self-identity in Autistic and ADHD individuals. My counselling approach is warm, authentic, and strengths-based, aiming to empower clients to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. I also work closely with clients managing anxiety, depression, and stress, guiding them towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
